Looking at the dining hall from another perspective

As a rule, athletes burn more calories than the average person. To maintain peak performance, calories have to be replaced, and energy stores must be fortified. To achieve this, good food, and plenty of it, is available seven days a week, at the Dining Hall.

A sample menu is provided below:

Saturday and Sunday

Brunch - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, English muffins, bagels, doughnuts. Drinks are whole milk, chocolate milk, orange and apple juice.

Dinner - salad, roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, mixed vegetables, white bread, dinner rolls, chicken and rice. Drinks are whole milk, chocolate milk, orange and apple juice.

 

Monday thru Friday

Breakfast - English muffins, bagels, cereals, fruits, doughnuts. Drinks are whole milk, chocolate milk, orange and apple juice.

Lunch - steak and cheese sandwiches, chicken nuggets, hamburgers, fries, macaroni and cheese, tacos, cold cuts, hotdogs. Drinks are coffee, whole milk, chocolate milk, and various juices.

Dinner - salad, baked ham, roast turkey, chicken, beef stew, gravies, meatloaf, chicken parmesan, lasagna, chicken and dumplings. Drinks are whole milk, chocolate milk, and various juices.
