East Coast Prep Is Back! Reopened For 2018
East Coast Prep, one of the nationís top postgraduate football schools, has reopened after a two-year hiatus. Dick Bell, founder, Headmaster and Head Football Coach, was stricken with a life threatening illness in early 2016 and has been on the mend since. With a great deal of hard work in recovery and grueling rehab behind him and by the grace of God, the Medical team has given Dick the go ahead to resume his duties as the leader of East Coast Prep. As of September 15, ECP has begun regular day to day operations in preparation for the 2018 season. As always, the schedule will be among the toughest in the country and aimed at giving ECP's players the tools they need to play at the next level in their football journey.
During its first three seasons East coast prep players went on to play at some of the most prestigious colleges in the country. (The list of players going on to successful college careers is spread across all divisions)
In addition to on field success--and just as important--ECP can also boast an impressive list of accomplishments when it comes to academics.
Dick Bell's and his staff are very excited about resuming in 2018. Rest assured that East Coast Prep will continue to provide the same high level of excellence in both athletics and academics that made it a magnet for top colleges seeking outstanding talent. We're all looking forward to seeing our next group of prospects report for duty on August 23, 2018
Note of Thanks from Dick Bell
I would like to thank everybody who has shown their support over the last 18 months. Your thoughts and prayers have contributed in a big way to my comeback. You served as an inspiration during days when I questioned if I had the strength to get the job done. In addition to family and friends, the calls I received from ECP alumni and the many College Coaches are of special note, as their calls put me on notice that ECP has changed lives and that I MUST recover.
We have had tremendous success over the past 3 years in fulfilling the primary mission of ECP which is to be a conduit to College Football for the serious High School player! Our placements speak for themselves. We have in a short time become one of the top Prep programs in the country with a deserved strong reputation. WE ARE NOT DONE.
As we begin preparation for the 2018 year at ECP our mission remains the same with some additions. We are pleased that we are one of the top programs in the nation, but our adjusted goal is to become THE TOP PROGRAM IN THE NATION. Our commitment in every facet will be with that goal in mind, be it Staff, Coaching, Schedule, etc. Our work ethic will be second to none!!!!!
As the Director of Operations I make that commitment to any prospective candidate for ECP.
