ECP Wide Receiver Mark Walker Earns Appointment to Naval Academy

As well as sending its players to some of the strongest and most competitive football conferences in the country, ECP has also sent players to conferences with a high academic standing, such as the Ivy League and the Patriot League. Mark Walker, with his appointment to the prestigious US Naval Academy, becomes the first ECP player to attend one of our nation's service academies.

Mark, who came to ECP from perennial powerhouse St. Peters Prep in New Jersey, had an outstanding year, and, with his size and 4.52 forty speed, was ECP's best receiver. Combine Mark's natural ability with his extraordinary work ethic and intelligence and you have the prototype of the kind of player the Naval Academy seeks when filling its roster.

“I am so proud of Mark, he worked hard in all phases both on and off the field, played great, has a great future”  ---Dick Bell
